FHC will be offering a variety of programs to commemorate the upcoming Florida Quincentennial anniversary in 2013. With support from the Florida Department of State and generous donors like you, we will be offering teacher workshops, public radio and television history moments, a teacher resource website, and a “Great Floridians” traveling Chautauqua tour that will explore Florida’s rich 500 year history. These programs provide Floridians with a deeper understanding of both the historical context and the cultural significance of Florida’s relationship with Spain.
